1. Primary Teacher:
* No of Posts:- 6500 Posts (Gen-2886, OBC-1610, SC-939 and ST-1065)

Pay Scale :- Rs. 9,300 to 34,800/- with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4,200/- per month
2. Assistant Teacher:

No of Posts:- 520 Posts (Gen-186, OBC-148, SC-36 and ST-150)

Pay Scale :- Rs. 9,300 to 34,800/- with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4,200/- per month
Age Limit :- Not more than 30 years (Relaxation as per rules)
Educational Qualification :- 10+2 Passed with 50 or its equivalent from recognized Board/Intitution with 2 years diploma/certificate in ETE/JB or equivalent or B.El.Ed.. Candidate must passed Hindi in 10th class and English in 12th Class.
Desirable Qualification :- Basic Computer Knowledge.
Application Fee : However, due to the upgradation of the post from Group ‘C’ to Group ‘B’ category, the candidates (except-SC/ST/PH) who have earlier submitted their application forms shall have to deposit an additional fee of Rs. 50/- in the form of crossed Indian Postal Order (IPO) in favour of the Secretary, DSSSB payable at Krishna Nagar Head Post Office, Delhi-110051 in order to be considered for the said post. The additional fee should be accompanied with necessary details including Name, Father’s Name, Date of Birth, Details of previous IPO, ID No. (if allotted) and copy of application form, if available. Non-deposit of additional fee within the prescribed period may lead to cancellation of their candidature at any stage. The application form must be accompanied with a fee of Rs. 100/- . Applicants belonging to SC/ST/PH category will be exempted for payment of the requisite fee subject to submission of duly attested copies of relevant certificates in support of their claim.
