Qualifications : A BE/B.Tech. or higher degree in Electronics/Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent
Key Responsibilities :
- Architect, Design and develop L2-L7 network services with balance of quality and time to market.
- Able to articulate, document and communicate ideas across team.
- Software maintenance, including triage, analysis and code modification for reported problems.
- Design and implement complex algorithms with simple and easy to maintain code.
- Work closely with product management team developing requirements
- Develop detail functional specification and software system architecture for feature development.
Competencies :
- Experience in development, testing and maintenance of+.9* Applications/Daemons using C/C++, shell scripting; on different distribution of Linux Platforms
- Experience in creating Linux specific distributions packages - Debian and RedHat
- Experience in developing and hosting RESTful webservices on different Linux platforms/distributions
- Knowledge on Computer networking with network tools such as iptables, netstat and libcap
- Experience in using VMware VCenter platform for creating and maintaining VM's
- Experience in using Jenkins, git and Jira as part of product life cycle management.
