Job Title : Senior Engineer / Deputy Manager – Machine Shop

Experience : 5 – 8 years

Job Profile :

• Identify and develop new capabilities of manufacturing to improve the capability index of the machine shop
• Identifying wastes in the system , arriving at solutions and implementing improvements to reduce waste
• Drive improvement projects as per the brand and market requirements to enable the growth of the segments
• Work with technology partners for implementation of new technology solutions for P,Q,C,D,S,M improvements
• Technology and Market Scanning on continuous basis and keep up to date with current and developing trends in the manufacturing industry to identify new age technology and machines and deploy for the breakthrough improvements
• Problem solving and Process optimization in the manufacturing operations through design of experiments and
• Reduce variability in manufacturing by providing standard work methods and work instructions
• Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning work flow, space requirements and equipment layout
• Conduct benchmarking studies to determine best practices/designs and future trends
• Delivery of new products as per the production and lead time plan
• Achieving and Improving FTA and CoPQ metric of New Products as per the plan
• Delivery and execution of improvement projects as per the business plan and set target
